HAMMERSMITH Bus Station  - BARNES POND
Route 209 will be restructured to run from Hammersmith Lower Bus Station to Barnes Pond replacing the majority of Route 533. Route 209 will run from Hammersmith Lower Bus Station via the current 533 route as far as Barnes Pond where it will terminate. Route 209 will return to Hammersmith via Church Road, Barnes Red Lion, Castelnau and Lonsdale Road to The Terrace and Barnes Bridge Station then the current 533 route back to Hammersmith Bus Station. This will remove the current loop working with buses now running two-way along the full length of Lonsdale Road.  

Passengers who travel to Hammersmith from stops along Church Road, Castelnau and Lonsdale Road will need to board the 209 from the opposite side of the road to the 533. At Barnes Pond route 209 will terminate at bus stop BC by Barnes Pond. Routes 378, 969 and N22 will be moved off stop BC to serve newly reopened bus stop BD which is around 20 meters east of stop BC. 

Route 209 will run every 15 minutes from first to last bus on all days of the week.
